NFL Free Agency 2020: 4 ideal landing spots for TE Jordan Reed

Atlanta Falcons

Let’s stick with the NFC South for another team, this time the Atlanta Falcons. After losing Austin Hooper in free agency to the Cleveland Browns, the Falcons went out and acquired Hayden Hurst in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens. While Hurst has talent, signing Jordan Reed would make a lot of sense.

Matt Ryan and the Falcons had a disappointing 2019 season that saw them miss the playoffs. They showed some bright moments late in the year, but there is a ton of work for them to do to get back into postseason contention.

Reed would slide right in and provide the Falcons with another talented pass-catcher. He would form a solid duo with Hurst to go along with an offense led by Ryan, Todd Gurley, and Julio Jones. Atlanta should consider this possible late free agency signing.
