Green Bay Packers
Finally, there is one more team to add to the list that could benefit from adding a veteran tight end like Jordan Reed. That team would be the Green Bay Packers, who have had an offseason that most view as disappointing.
At this point in time, the Packers are projected to start second-year tight end Jace Sternberger. They made the decision to release Jimmy Graham earlier this offseason. While Sternberger has big-time potential, Reed would give the Packers a great double threat option at the position.
Matt LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers love utilizing tight ends and Reed is a top-notch receiving tight end when healthy. Taking a low-risk chance on Reed with a one-year deal would be smart. Green Bay wouldn’t have to spend a ton of money and Reed could absolutely help them.
