Just a few short years ago, Jordan Reed was viewed as one of the top tight ends in the NFL. He was a tough cover for any opposing defense and helped make the Washington Redskins a dangerous offense. Unfortunately, he has suffered quite a few concussions that have derailed his career.
Last season, Reed missed the entire year due to a concussion. Back in 2018, he did play in 13 games, and in 2017 he played in just six. In the 2018 season, Reed caught 54 passes for 558 yards and two touchdowns.
Those numbers may not be what fans were hoping for, but they showed he still had some good football left in the tank. He is just 29 years old and still wants to continue playing football. If a team gives him a chance, his body could certainly hold up at the NFL level.
Many teams have concerns that signing Reed and letting him play could lead to another concussion. With how serious concussions are, very few teams have been aggressively pursuing a deal with Reed to this point in the offseason.
All of that being said, let’s take a look at the four best landing spots for Jordan Reed if he ends up being signed prior to the season.
