Los Angeles Rams

The elite impact Todd Gurley provided the Los Angeles Rams set the tone for the unit as a whole during his best seasons. That wasn’t quite the case in 2019 and now he’s no longer with the team, leaving a significant void left to be filled by players that almost certainly can’t do it.

It appears quite unlikely the Rams will end up succeeding after having to rely more on Jared Goff’s talent to win games. It could quickly become apparent that he needs a high-level running back talent alongside him in order to be a playoff contender.

While the Rams will go through 2020 without having a dynamic running back talent, the option of making a run at Alvin Kamara next season could present itself. They would need to come ready to compete with other teams aggressively but it would be worth it, nevertheless.
