New York Giants (Saquon Barkley Will Lead The League In Rushing)
The New York Giants are in rebuild mode. A second-year QB in Daniel Jones, a host of receivers that still must prove themselves, and an offensive line still searching for an identity. The Giants have their work cut out for them but all will not be lost thanks to running back Saquon Barkley.
In 2018, in his rookie year, Barkley rushed for 1307 yards while catching 91 passes for another 721 yards. In 2019, in just 13 games, Barkley rushed for 1003 yards while catching 52 passes for 438 yards. In his two seasons, Barkley has rushed the ball 478 times.
In 2020, fans and opponents should expect to see more of the same from Barkley. If he can manage to stay healthy for the entire season, then it’s a good chance he could finish the year as the top rusher in the NFL. If Jones doesn’t progress in his second season, Joe Judge will have no choice but to force-feed Barkley the ball.
