Seattle Seahawks: Chris Carson
Chris Carson has solidified himself as a solid starting running back in the NFL. After a rookie season that saw him play just four games, Carson has rushed for 1,000 yards in each of the last two seasons. He also carried the ball 240 times in each of the last two campaigns. This will not change in 2020.
The Seahawks have not been able to nail down a starting running back since Marshawn Lynch. Carson is trying to break that streak. He finished with 1,230 rushing yards with seven touchdowns last season. He added 37 catches for 266 yards and two scores through the air. Carson is a durable back, having missed three games over the last two years. He is a top-tier fantasy option because of his usage.
In 2020, Carson will eclipse 250 carries once again. This will put him near 1,150 yards rushing with 10 or more scores. He is used at the goal line which is what the Seahawks need in their offense.
Working with a quarterback like Russell Wilson is beneficial for any running back. Rashaad Penny and Carlos Hyde will be on the depth chart in Seattle, but there is no doubt who the starting back is entering the 2020 season.
