Rodgers vs Wilson: Which QB Has The Better Season?
It’s by no means an easy decision considering just how great both Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers are, but when it comes to who will perform better in 2020, the answer is Russell Wilson.
Wilson frankly just has better weapons than Rodgers. The trio of dams, Valdes-Scantling and Lazard doesn’t even come close in comparison to Lockett, Metcalf and new Seahawk Philip Dorsett. Not to mention the fact that Wilson has two reliable tight ends, while Rodgers has *checks notes* … Jace Sternberger/Josiah Deguara/Marcedes Lewis.
Now we did see Lazard gain Rodger’s trust last season and he could be fit for a major step forward. But add in the fact that Rodgers isn’t exactly at his happiest right now with coach Matt LaFleur and GM Brian Gutekunst, and things could be edging closer to crashing in Green Bay than thriving.
These are two teams that have the potential to be No. 1 and No. 2 in the NFC. But the Seahawks are dealing with an extremely difficult NFC West, while the Packers are in an NFC North that is constantly seeing teams go up and down. Regardless of who does better, each will be entertaining to watch in their own entity.
