Obviously, Rashan Gary is a name that comes up a lot when talking about players to watch during training camp. Coming into his second NFL season, Gary is hoping to carve out a much bigger role for himself with the Packers.

As a rookie in 2019, Gary ended up playing sparingly behind both Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith. He compiled 21 total tackles to go along with two sacks and a fumble recovery. Gary will look to build on that.

At 6-foot-5 and nearly 280 pounds, Gary could end up playing more on the line alongside star defensive tackle Kenny Clark. That would be a way for the Packers to open up more playing time.

No matter where he is used, the Packers are expecting a jump from Gary. He will be a fun name to watch this year.
