The Green Bay Packers had a great 2019 campaign. They finished the season 13-3 and atop the NFC North. Green Bay made a run to the NFC Championship Game, but were handed a 37-20 loss by the San Francisco 49ers. There were two huge reasons for this blowout.

First, the Packers could not stop the run from the opening possession. Second, they did not have any skill position players that could help the offense score points. Do you know who could change that narrative? A.J. Green.

It was clear this offseason that Aaron Rodgers wanted the team to add some wide receivers. Outside of Davante Adams, the Packers struggle on the outside.

Instead of adding players to make their future Hall of Fame quarterback happy, the Packers decided to draft his replacement in Jordan Love. They also added the eventual replacement for Aaron Jones in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft in A.J. Dillon.

While things seem messy in the Green Bay locker room, there is still a 2020 season to be played and the Packers are viewed as contenders in the NFC. Adding Green would solidify that.

Here are three reasons why the team should still pursue a trade for the Cincinnati Bengals’ star.
