The Green Bay Packers fell one game short of advancing to the Super Bowl in 2019, leaving many fans to believe this offseason would be spent bettering the roster around Aaron Rodgers. Instead, the Packers seemed to have begun looking forward to the future already.
In the 2020 NFL Draft, Green Bay traded up in the first round to select Jordan Love with the No. 26 pick, possibly taking Rodgers’ eventual replacement. Then, the Packers took AJ Dillon when they already had Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams on the roster.
Above all, throughout the entire draft, Green Bay chose not to address the glaring need at the wide receiver position. Devin Funchess was the only notable wide receiver that the Packers added this offseason. Outside of Davante Adams, Green Bay still doesn’t have anyone that has shown consistency in the NFL.
Nonetheless, it’s not too late for Green Bay to come to their senses and make a move for a wide receiver this offseason. With that in mind, let’s take a look at three wide receivers that the Packers should pursue via trade.
