Josiah Deguara, Tight End

Finally, the Packers did go out and bring in another potential offensive weapon in the 2020 NFL Draft. That weapon is tight end/fullback Josiah Deguara.

Deguara may not receive a huge role as a rookie in 2020, but he might just earn himself some reps. During the 2019 season at Cincinnati, Deguara ended up catching 39 passes for 504 yards and seven touchdowns. He is a very good pass-catching tight end or fullback.

Green Bay lost fullback Danny Vitale this offseason. He was a good piece for Matt LaFleur and the Packers’ offense. Deguara could very well end up taking that role.

Rodgers didn’t get any new elite weapons, but guys like Funchess, Begelton, and possibly even Deguara could be nice additions.
