The Green Bay Packers had a very strange offseason after finishing the 2019 season off with a loss in the NFC Championship Game. Aaron Rodgers and company were not expected to have that kind of a season, but the expectations are now high for the 2020 season.

Despite the big season they had in 2019, the Packers decided to make some intriguing moves this offseason. They signed linebacker Christian Kirksey to replace Blake Martinez, wide receiver Devin Funchess, and offensive tackle Rick Wagner to replace Bryan Bulaga in free agency. In the 2020 NFL Draft, things got even more strange.

Brian Gutekunst decided to take Utah State quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of the NFL Draft. Many thought the Packers would go with a wide receiver. Not only did they not take one in the first round, they didn’t take one at all.

In the second round, the Packers went out and selected Boston College running back A.J. Dillon despite the presence of Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. Jimmy Graham was also released, leaving Jace Sternberger as the projected starting tight end.

All of that being said, let’s take a look ahead at the 2020 NFL season. Here are five players to keep an eye on leading up to the season for the Packers.
