Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has begun finding his stride in recent weeks. After coming out of the gates hot to start the season, he saw a downswing in production after teams got some tape on him and made adjustments. In the last few weeks, it has been Love making changes and they have paid off handsomely.
His improved production is a big reason that the Packers now find themselves at No. 7 in the NFC, holding onto the last Wild Card spot. They have won three games in a row and four out of their last five following a four-game winning streak as Love is finding his groove as a starter for the first time in his career.
During the three-game win streak, Love has not thrown a single interception. When he has been able to limit his turnovers, the Packers have won games. When he doesn’t throw an interception, they are 5-1 but when he does, they are 1-5.
The Packers go as Love does this season. Luckily, he has seemingly turned a corner in the last few weeks with an 8-0 touchdown to interception ratio. This most recent hot streak has Love sitting atop the NFL in one massive statistic.
NFL News & Rumors: Jordan Love & Green Bay Packers Updates
According to NFL on CBS on X, formerly known as Twitter, Love has four games this season he has thrown 3+ touchdowns with zero interceptions. There isn’t a quarterback in the NFL that has more such games in the 2023 season than Love.
Love has accomplished that feat in two straight games against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day and the Kansas City Chiefs this past weekend. The first two instances came in Weeks 1 and 2 of the season against the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons. In Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers, he fell just short, throwing two interceptions without an interception.
That kind of efficiency when it comes to scoring is what has helped the Packers turn their season around. Love is playing at a very high level and his young playmakers are stepping up as they have gained experience and confidence throughout the season.
