Packers: Potential Jimmy Graham replacements for Green Bay

Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay Packers are going to have a few very tough decisions to make this coming offseason. After coming up just short in the NFC Championship Game to the San Francisco 49ers, there will be some change needed for the team. One of those changes could come at tight end.

It has been apparent over the past couple of seasons that the signing of Jimmy Graham was a bit of a mistake. His athleticism is mostly gone, and while he shows flashes of being able to make big plays, he can’t sustain it.

During the 2019 season with the Packers, Graham ended up catching 38 passes for 447 yards and three touchdowns. Those numbers aren’t going to get the job done for Green Bay.

Rumors have already been swirling that Green Bay is expected to release Graham this offseason. They can open up cap space with the move and their offense could very well improve with a different option on the field. Aaron Rodgers is a big fan of Graham, but it’s time to part ways.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at three potential replacements for Jimmy Graham in the Packers’ offense.
