2. Jace Sternberger, Green Bay Packers
Next up, the Packers could go with the guy they drafted last year. Jace Sternberger missed the majority of his rookie season due to injury, but was able to come back late in the year and played in the playoffs as well.
He didn’t have a single catch in the regular season, but did make an impact in the postseason. Sternberger caught just three passes for 15 yards, but he did record his first touchdown reception as the Packers tried to make a late comeback against the 49ers. Obviously, the comeback did not end up happening.
Sternberger is a big target and the organization has been very high on him since before the draft last year. He might be ready to step up and start at tight end should the Packers release Jimmy Graham.
