Next up, the Carolina Panthers are in major need of finding some help defensively. With Luke Kuechly retiring this offseason, that has left a major need for some playmaking. There is no better playmaker defensively than Isaiah Simmons that could be available at No. 7 overall.

The Panthers drafting Simmons would also be a “stay at home” kind of pick. Clemson is the favorite college football team for many Panthers fans. This would be a selection that would make the fans very happy.

Simmons to Carolina makes a ton of sense. He would be a huge upgrade for a needy defense and would immediately form a young, dynamic pass-rushing duo with Brian Burns. If the Panthers decide to go defense, Simmons would be a dream scenario for them.
