The Las Vegas Raiders are entering the NFL offseason with big goals ahead of them. After playing competitive football in 2019, Jon Gruden and company are hoping to add some talent to both sides of the football. Thankfully, the Raiders will be on the clock with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft with the opportunity to snag an impact player.
NFL.com seems to have the answer for who the Raiders should take with the pick. They have projected that Las Vegas will select Alabama standout wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
Between Lamb and Jeudy, head coach Jon Gruden and GM Mike Mayock would be happy with whichever receiver is available to them at this pick.
Last offseason, the Raiders thought they had found their long-term No. 1 wideout when they acquired Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Obviously, that trade ended up being a complete disaster.
Jeudy is known as a hard worker and would bring legitimate No. 1 potential. In 2019 with the Crimson Tide, Jeudy ended up catching 77 passes for 1,163 yards and 10 touchdowns. He averaged a solid 15.1 yards per reception.
At 6-foot-1 and 192 pounds, Jeudy would provide Derek Carr, or whoever plays quarterback for the Raiders in 2020, a lethal weapon to work with. The superstar potential is obvious and that would make this pick well worth it for Las Vegas.
