Stay Healthy Throughout The Entire Season

Marquise Brown was one of the better deep threats for Lamar Jackson last year, and he will need to make sure he stays on the field in 2020. Baltimore is pretty thin at the wide receiver position, in large part because they have decided that they are going to place more emphasis on the run. Without adequate depth, the Ravens must rely on their top guys staying on the field.

As much as fans love a receiver that will lower their shoulder and hit a defender, that cannot be Brown this year. Those few extra yards will not be worth the risk of getting injured and missing multiple games. If the Ravens want to make a deep run in the playoffs, they need to have the ability to beat a team by throwing the ball, and without Brown that threat is gone.

Players are not able to fully control staying healthy, but there are some things they can do in warmups and during the game that mitigate the risks. Brown needs to do everything he can to stay on the field for the entire season.
