2. Trade Gus Edwards
Gus Edwards was part of the Ravens’ rushing attack last season. He carried the ball 133 times for 711 yards and two scores. He has eclipsed 700 yards in each of his first two years in the league but the upcoming season could end that streak.
The Ravens added Dobbins in April’s draft. It is likely that he will take over as the No. 2 back behind Ingram and get some serious time as a rookie. This leaves Edwards without a role. He would be the fourth runner behind Ingram, Dobbins, and Jackson.
This is a chance for the Ravens to get something back for an asset. Edwards is a capable runner and one who could be a weapon for a team that needs one.
This is not to say that they will get an early draft pick for Edwards, but something is better than nothing. He has been in the league for two years and is just 25-years old. His best football is in front of him but it might not be in Baltimore.
