While it hasn’t been the season Dalvin Cook had hoped for, he’s determined to make a significant impact this Saturday for the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens’ newly acquired running back is set to make his debut in the upcoming playoff game against the Houston Texans, and the four-time Pro Bowl selection is committed to contributing in any way possible to secure a victory.
“I’m not looking forward to a role or anything. They call 31’s number, I’m gonna be out there on the field. I’m gonna be ready to make a play. But for me, honestly, Gus [Edwards], Justice [Hill], they put the work in all year so you’ve got to credit those guys. Whatever my role is, whatever they call upon me, they’re going to get 1000% out of Dalvin.”
To ensure Cook’s availability for Saturday’s crucial match, the Ravens made the decision to include him in the active roster, replacing Melvin Gordon.
Although Cook spent most of the season with the New York Jets, his performance did not match the standards he had set during his time with the Minnesota Vikings. Following his release from the Jets, Cook quickly joined the Ravens.
While he has been on Baltimore’s practice squad for the past two weeks, Dalvin Cook appears primed and ready for the upcoming playoff showdown against Houston.
