The last few years have been smooth sailing for the New Orleans Saints. That is, during the season. The post-season has been a completely different story.
From controversial officiating that sparked the Superdome, to the Minneapolis Miracle event that came just the year before, the Saints have yet to put together the final piece of their Super Bowl puzzle.
The NFC South has reloaded in a big way, perhaps even becoming one of the top all-around divisions in the NFL. Just in the past few months, we’ve seen one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time in Tom Brady join Tampa Bay. The division has also seen former Saint Teddy Bridgewater join an impressive crew in the Carolina Panthers.
It’s not shaping up to be a cakewalk of a regular season for the Saints, as the Saints face some tough out of conference opponents, as well as perhaps the strongest version of the NFC South in recent memory.
