49ers’ Deebo Samuel Again Takes Aim At Cowboys’ Micah Parsons

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel has again gotten into it with Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons after Parsons criticized Brock Purdy following the quarterback’s horrendous outing in the 49ers’ Christmas Day loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

While San Francisco was down 33-12 to the Ravens in the fourth quarter of its Week 16 defeat, Parsons took to X to throw a shot at Purdy.

The jab was kind of strange given the fact that the 49ers hammered Parsons’ Cowboys earlier this season. Also, Dallas just lost to the Miami Dolphins this past weekend has lost two straight games, so you would think Parsons would be more focused on his own team.

Samuel didn’t miss the opportunity to fire back at Parsons on the Up & Adams Show on Wednesday

“Like, bro, we beat you [42-10] a long time ago,” Samuel said “I don’t get why he’s so bothered by what we’ve got going on over here or whatever the case may be.”

Not only that, but Samuel responded to Parsons on X, posting “you worried bout us so much I think you want a niner jersey” with three laughing emojis.

While there may be some who agree with Parsons in his assessment of Purdy (like Cam Newton, for example), Samuel has a point. The fact that Parsons is so concerned with the Niners while the Cowboys are in the midst of fighting for an NFC East division title doesn’t seem right.

Parsons is certainly a dominant force on the field. He has racked up 53 tackles, 13 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery through the first 15 games of the season. However, he should probably work on his social media strategy a bit more, because ripping other contenders in the middle of the playoff race simply isn’t a very good look.

Perhaps Deebo Samuel and Micah Parsons will meet again in January. The 49ers have bounced the Cowboys from the playoffs each of the last two years.

San Francisco is 11-4 and will battle the Washington Commanders this Sunday. Meanwhile, Dallas is 10-5 and will take on the Detroit Lions.
