3. Greg Olsen is Productive for 16 Games
Greg Olsen signed a one-year, $7 million contract with the Seahawks for 2020. After spending nine years with the Carolina Panthers, Olsen inked a deal with a team in need of a tight end. The Seahawks got a veteran player that can act as a leader on and off the field during what they hope will be a championship run.
Olsen was an elite pass catcher during his days as a Panther. He went for 1,000 yards three times and totaled 39 touchdowns. Olsen played in every game during his first six years in Carolina. He was extremely durable but that has not been the case recently.
Since 2016, Olsen has missed 18 games and has not played a full season. The 35-year old is hoping to stay on the field for all 16 games in 2020. If he does, he will be a huge target for Wilson, who likes to use his tight ends.
Seattle is used to tight ends getting hurt and they are hoping that Olsen is different this season. Both Luke Willson and Will Dissly suffered injuries in 2019. If Olsen is on the field, the offense will automatically be better.
