4. Seahawks Sweep the Los Angeles Rams
Pete Carroll’s team can’t get over their issues with Sean McVay’s Rams. In the past three seasons, the Seahawks are 2-4 against their division rivals. Seattle and Los Angeles split their two-game series last season after the Rams swept Seattle in 2018.
Wilson and company might finally put Los Angeles to bed this year. Jared Goff looked rattled throughout 2019, throwing 22 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Meanwhile, the offensive line and defense continued decaying this offseason.
Losing Todd Gurley also puts new strain on L.A.’s passing game. Without a superstar running back, McVay’s offense becomes one-dimensional. On the other hand, the Seahawks have a well-rounded team with far fewer flaws than Los Angeles.
Seattle is trending in the right direction while the Rams continue sinking to the NFC West’s bottom.
