Adds A Dynamic Element with Size
The Seattle Seahawks currently are led by Tyler Lockett when it comes to the wide receiver position. Standing at 5-10, it’s important they have talented complements with size. They already have D.K. Metcalf (6-4) in a prominent role with the next larger option being David Moore (6-0).
The Seattle would benefit from adding Josh Gordon for this reason. Standing at 6-3, “Flash Gordon” possesses a rare skill-set for his size and that would enable the Seahawks to get creative in their passing attack. Just as he showed on the 59-yard grab against the Carolina Panthers in clutch-time.
Gordon is a deep-threat talent that would help make the most of Russell Wilson’s passing proficiency, especially when extending plays out of the pocket. When factoring in that Metcalf thrives in those situations as well, defenses could have a real tough time slowing them down.
Finding as many potential matchup advantages as possible is important to defeat elite teams. Gordon would bring another to the table for the Seahawks in a way that would force teams to have multiple high-level coverage options with size. If he proves to be reliable, of course.
