After being displaced from his starting position by second-round rookie Will Levis, it appears that Ryan Tannehill’s tenure with the Tennessee Titans may be drawing to a close. Could he end up resurrecting his career again with the Pittsburgh Steelers?

Following two consecutive seasons with losing records, the Titans have also opted to part ways with their head coach, Mike Vrabel. Additionally, the franchise is bidding farewell to the living legend of the Titans, running back Derrick Henry, after his remarkable eight-season journey with the team, signaling their desire for a fresh start in 2024.

Tannehill is poised to enter unrestricted free agency during the upcoming offseason, and he is likely to attract numerous suitors. He is a proven veteran quarterback with a track record of leading multiple franchises to playoff appearances.

Notably, he steered the Titans to an AFC Championship appearance in 2019.

Despite losing his starting role to Levis earlier in the season, Tannehill was called upon to start the final three games of the regular season when Levis was sidelined due to injury.

In those starts, Tannehill exhibited his skill by completing at least 65 percent of his passes in each game. He even played a pivotal role in the Titans’ surprising upset victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18, which eliminated the Jaguars from playoff contention. This demonstrated that Tannehill remains capable of making significant contributions to a team’s success.

Ryan Tannehill’s wealth of experience and his ability to play error-free football, when combined with an elite Steelers defense, could transform them into a formidable contender within the AFC.
