Week 3 Duds for the Packers

Marquez Valdes-Scantling

To start the short list of duds off, Valdes-Scantling has to be mentioned. It isn’t his fault, as the Saints showed him the kind of defensive game plan that they would have had for Davante Adams. However, MVS did not make an impact on this game.

He caught just one pass for five yards against New Orleans. Valdes-Scantling is still going to be a major threat moving forward, but this performance wasn’t what the Packers were expecting.

Jamaal Williams

Secondly, and finally, Jamaal Williams has to be added to this list. Granted, the running game didn’t produce much, but Williams had just 14 yards on six carries. He also caught just one pass for three yards.

Williams can’t be blamed for this dud performance either. This is not a bad thing, it just means that they didn’t produce as much as expected. Next week against the Atlanta Falcons, Williams should be back to producing quality numbers.
