Returning: Nicholas Morrow, Marquel Lee

Additions: Cory Littleton, Nick Kwiatkoski, Tanner Muse

The Raiders’ linebacking core has been a revolving door for many years. And once again it was their biggest need entering free agency. They spent their money wisely, adding two starting-caliber linebackers, helping close the gap at their most vulnerable position.

Inserting Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski vastly improves their pass-defense on the second level. Last year, the Raiders were exposed when teams forced their linebackers to drop back in coverage — however, adding Littleton provides them with one of the league’s best coverage linebackers.

Kwiatkoski comes from the Chicago Bears where he had only been utilized as a part-time starter. Despite never starting more than eight games in a single-season, his football IQ and knack to find the football appear to suit him well as he’ll wear the green dot for the Las Vegas defense.
