As mentioned in the last point, Jalen Hurts put up massive numbers with his arm and legs in 2019 with the Sooners. He proved that he can throw the ball at an elite level and was very Lamar Jackson-esque on the ground.

Hurts completed 69.7 percent of his pass attempts for 3,851 yards, 32 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. He also racked up 1,298 yard and 20 touchdowns on the ground.

The Steelers and plenty of other teams should be amazed by those numbers. Hurts has received a ton of criticism about his arm, but so did Jackson. That isn’t saying that Hurts is guaranteed to develop like Jackson, but it is worth taking a chance on him for Pittsburgh.
