2 reasons Kenyan Drake could be a sneaky free agency target for the Texans

With free agency rapidly approaching, it is unclear on what the Houston Texans plan on doing at the running back position. Considering the amount of cap space the Texans have, they could be targeting one of the big names available on the open market.

Last offseason, Houston traded for Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson to bolster their backfield. Of course, those moves were made following the season-ending injury that Lamar Miller suffered in the preseason.

In their first season together, Hyde and Johnson combined for 1,480 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in 2019. But in the upcoming offseason, it appears that there’s a decent chance that Hyde isn’t brought back.

Also, Miller is going to be an unrestricted free agent following his serious knee injury. As a result, the Texans are undoubtedly going to be looking to find a viable running back this offseason.

Among the options they’ll have, Kenyan Drake is an intriguing name to watch when free agency gets underway. In light of that, here are two reasons why Drake could be a sneaky free-agent target for the Texans.
