Minnesota Vikings WR, Stefon Diggs

Many people around the NFL believe Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs could be on the move this offseason. Especially after the wideout removed all connections to the Vikings from his social media profiles.

Diggs is a solidified receiver and would absolutely help the Patriots passing attack next year. He’s 26-years-old and under contract through the 2023 season with an average salary of about $12 million, so he’ll be in New England for the long haul if they trade for him.

The prospect of Diggs joining Julian Edelman and Mohamed Sanu in New England should excite any Patriots fan. He’d probably be listed as the no. 1 receiver, but with Sanu and Edelman surrounding him, he won’t be forced to carry the receiving group.

He averaged 17.9 yards per catch last season. The only Patriots receivers who averaged over 14 yards were Josh Gordon and Antonio Brown, and neither of them finished the season with the team.

Diggs would provide Brady with an elite deep threat and would certainly help the Patriots go on another Super Bowl run in 2020.
