Carl Lawson

A fourth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, Carl Lawson brought speed and athleticism to the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense. Like the majority of this list, injuries have plagued his career.

Lawson missed nine games in 2018 and four games in 2019. However, he still managed to get five sacks in a limited role last season. Bengals’ media and fans have been hammering the table for giving Lawson more snaps and when he’s on the field, it is clear to see why.

As Cincinnati’s defensive line gets older, Lawson can provide a change of pace behind Carlos Dunlap. If he can provide consistency this season, Lawson may cash in during free agency.
