Jacoby Brissett
Jacoby Brissett has had an up and down career. Brissett began his career learning behind Tom Brady and then Andrew Luck. After Luck’s surprising retirement in 2019, Brissett took the reigns and started off with a bang.
Through seven games, Brissett threw 14 touchdowns, leading the Colts to a 5-2 record. In week eight, Brissett was taken down awkwardly and sprained his knee. He never recovered to the same level pre-injury, forcing the Colts to make a move for Philip Rivers in the offseason.
Now, Brissett will sit behind another veteran quarterback. After a strong showing in the majority of his starts, Jacoby Brissett could be this year’s Teddy Bridgewater come next March.
Could Brissett retake the Colts starting job following Rivers retirement? Or will he take his talents to teams like Tampa Bay, Chicago, or back to New England?
