2. DE/OLB Ryan Kerrigan
Leonard Floyd has been a great find for the Rams this year, with seven sacks (second on the team) and 15 quarterback hits.
Floyd’s also playing on a what amounts to a one-year deal, with voidable years in 2021 and 2022. So he’s in position to cash in on the best year of his career, leaving the Rams to replace him.
Kerrigan has had a productive season for Washington this year, with 5.5 sacks, five tackles for loss and 10 QB pressures on 39 percent of the snaps. He’s also 32 years old (33 by the time the 2021 season starts), and he’ll be a free agent.
The Rams will have to mine the bargain bin for an edge rusher, assuming Floyd is gone. Kerrigan looks like a nice fit.
