Atlanta Falcons (at PHI Eagles)
What?
Stream a defense playing the defending Super Bowl champs? Even though the Eagles are a team many expect to be one of the top offenses in the NFL?!
Yup.
The Eagles are going to be without dynamic franchise quarterback Carson Wentz for Week 1, so that obviously immediately limits the firepower of the Eagles offense. Now I know what you’re thinking: we’ve seen what Nick Foles can do at the helm, including against these very same Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Divisional Round. And you’re right, but it’s not like Foles has lit the world on fire. In that very same divisional round back in January, Foles thew for less than 250 yards and zero TDs against a defense that looks to be improved in 2018. That scary Eagles offense only put up 15 total points.
And let’s be honest: the Nick Foles we’ve seen in the preseason that just ended, does not look like a Super Bowl MVP. Instead, it looks like the quarterback that had his starting gig ripped out from under him with the Rams. It’s possible the Eagles caught lightning in a bottle last year.
At less than 10% ownership in ESPN leagues, you should be able to find the Falcons DST in free agency.
