3. Jimmy Graham Takes Over As The Starter
Let’s just begin with the fact that there could be a tight end competition in training camp and the preseason. Graham will be coming in and competing with current tight end Trey Burton. When everything is said and done, Graham will win that competition.
Burton was solid during his first year with the Bears in 2018, racking up 54 receptions for 569 yards and six touchdowns. However, last season, he caught just 14 passes for 84 yards in the eight games he played.
Graham can provide much more consistent production than Burton. Nagy will run some two tight end sets, but Graham is going to be the starter.
