Will Earn a First Team All-Pro Nod

The start of Darius Leonard’s NFL career has been nothing short of incredible. He came out of the gate earning a First-Team All-Pro nomination as a rookie and followed it up by being named Second-Team All-Pro in 2020.

The upcoming season will mark yet another All-Pro nomination, but this time, it will be for the highest of honors.

The competition will not be easy for Leonard to outcompete. For reference, the linebackers to earn the First-Team All-Pro honors included Bobby Wagner, Demario Davis, and Eric Kendricks.

Something that will at least help Leonard is that Luke Kuechly decided to retire. While he was named Second-Team All-Pro in 2019, Kuechly was routinely among the NFL’s elite linebackers in his career.
