Reaches 17 Combined TDs
The Dallas Cowboys have become one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL and the scoring impact Ezekiel Elliott provides is a key reason for that. However, it should become easier for him to score with even more wide receiver talent on the team.
The most total touchdowns Elliott has scored in a single-season was 16 during his rookie campaign with 15 of those occurring on rushing attempts. He came close to matching that figure last season after recording 14 combined touchdowns with 12 resulting from runs.
It wasn’t until Week 10 until Elliott managed to achieve a performance with multiple touchdowns, which could potentially be attributed to a rusty start. He ended up achieving four total multiple touchdown games during the back half of the regular season.
It appears as though Elliott will set a new single-season best for total touchdowns by scoring at least 17. Most of these touchdowns will naturally come as the result of running plays, but it should be easier for him to find the end-zone as a receiver.
