Finish Near 2,000 Yards from Scrimmage
There is serious potential for Ezekiel Elliott to produce total yards from scrimmage in 2020. Between his ability to run the ball and make plays as a pass-catcher, his impact in the form of yards adds up quickly for the Dallas Cowboys.
Eliott has come close to the 2,000-yard mark in total yards from scrimmage twice in his NFL career. He managed to do so as a rookie in 2016 with 1,994 yards and after a short sophomore season, he was back at it again in 2018 racking up 2,001 yards.
Perhaps what makes the two seasons where Elliott finished near 2,000 total yards from scrimmage more impressive is that he achieved it in 15 performances. It goes to show how reliable and consistent he is even if it sometimes gets taken for granted.
As long as Elliott plays in a comparable number of games next season as he did in 2016 and 2018, there is little reason to believe he won’t come close to 2,000 yards from scrimmage again.
