Be healthy enough to play effectively next season

There have been some videos recently circulating showing Cam Newton throwing footballs. That’s certainly a positive sign that his recovery but he still has room to grow in order to get into game shape.

It sounds like an oversimplification, but it remains true. Everything hinges on Newton’s ability to be healthy for the Panthers. Team owner David Tepper has made that clear repeatedly when asked about Newton’s future with the organization.

A lot of questions get answered if Newton can prove that he’s ready to play at high level next season. The Panthers would be able to give him at least another shot while playing in a new offensive system before deciding whether they want to move on from him.
