Calais Campbell Could Be DPOY Front Runner

The Ravens have an absurd, “Madden on rookie mode” level of talent on their roster. Defensive lineman Calais Campbell is one of the newest additions to that group, and he looks just as good as advertised.

His impact won’t show up in full on the box score, but he was an absolute disruptor on defense, helping to force pressure on Baker Mayfield all day, and even deflecting a few passes at the line of scrimmage.

Playing as well as he did against Cleveland, against a solid offensive line, Campbell won’t be shut out of the box score all season.

When he starts piling up the TFL’s and sacks, he’ll be a strong candidate for defensive player of the year.
