Jadeveon Clowney, Defensive End

Finally, the best free agent on the market could be a perfect target for the Cowboys. Jadeveon Clowney has yet to find a new team and his market has been relatively non-existent. Re-signing with the Seahawks seems likely, but Dallas could swoop in and offer him a short-term deal.

If the Cowboys come in with an aggressive one or two-year offer, Clowney would have to think about it. Taking a short deal and re-entering free agency in a year or two would make a lot of sense for the star pass rusher.

Clowney played a shortened season for the Seahawks in 2019 following his trade from the Texans. He racked up 31 total tackles to go along with three sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one interception, a defensive touchdown, and three defended passes. Those numbers show what kind of production Clowney could bring to the Cowboys.

Jerry Jones loves star power and it would not be shocking to see him do everything he can to pursue Clowney this late in free agency.
