What To Expect From Aaron Rodgers In 2020
Not only does Rodgers have the motivation of getting older and leading his team to a Super Bowl, he also has some competition. Green Bay made a surprising decision to trade up in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft to select Utah State quarterback Jordan Love.
Here are a few numbers the Packers should be expecting from a motivated version of Rodgers with a chip on his shoulder.
4,500 Passing Yards
Rodgers may not have any new weapons to work with, but he is still going to improve his production. Going from 4,002 passing yards to 4,500 would be a big jump. That is a number the Packers should be expecting from Rodgers, who will without question be ready to prove that he is still one of the top quarterbacks in the game.
35 Touchdown Passes
Next up, the Packers need their offense to put up more points. They struggled at times to find the end zone last season and Rodgers has had back-to-back seasons of 25 and 26 touchdowns respectively. In 2020, Rodgers will up that number to 35.
Five Or Fewer Interceptions
As previously mentioned, Rodgers only threw four interceptions last season. He has always taken care of the football at a high level, with 13 being his career-high all the way back in 2008. The 2020 season will be more of the same and Rodgers will threw five or fewer interceptions.
