
Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have suffered through a brutal offseason so far. Losing Tom Brady was the biggest part of their loss, but they also ended up seeing Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Collins walk away in free agency. Now, the team has to figure out how to pick up and move forward.
With free agency in the final wave and most of the top-notch players gone, the Patriots could turn to the 2020 NFL Draft to find most of their replacement talent.
At this point in time, the Patriots hold the No. 23 overall pick in the draft. They should be able to find an impact player with that selection. Whether they choose to go offense or defense with that pick remains to be seen, but either way they should find a young guy who can come in and play immediately.
