3 prospects the Dolphins should target with the No. 5 pick in the NFL Draft

Quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

This one may have been obvious, but it’s still warranted. Quarterback is the most important position in football, without a solid guy under center, your chances of competing for a championship goes out the window.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was fine last year, but he was still inconsistent and clearly isn’t the quarterback of the future. The team traded for former first round pick Josh Rosen last offseason, but when given his opportunity he failed to deliver, starting just three games and tossing one touchdown to five interceptions.

If Tua‘s available at five, he seems like the obvious choice. If he comes in and plays up to his potential, there’s a really good chance the Dolphins are playing playoff football this season.
