2. Phillip Dorsett, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots
Next up, the Packers need to add more speed to their offense. San Francisco destroyed Green Bay with their offensive speed and playmaking in the NFC Championship Game. Should the Packers look for speed at wide receiver, Phillip Dorsett would make a lot of sense.
Last season with the Patriots, Dorsett caught 29 passes for 397 yards and five touchdowns. He wasn’t the most productive, but he is a specialty player. Dorsett can make plays down the field and when given an opportunity in the open field.
Matt LaFleur’s offense thrives on quick passes and putting players in space. Dorsett would fit beautifully into that system. He wouldn’t fix the issues at wide receiver, but he would be a nice step towards fixing them.
