The Detroit Lions are fresh off their first win of the 2020 season, a 26-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

The win saw Matthew Stafford have his best performance of the season so far, and now Detroit heads home to face the New Orleans Saints, in a matchup where both teams enter 1-2.

Much of the Saints game plan will hinge on the availability of receiver Michael Thomas, who has been out since Week 2. Thomas has a chance to return against Detroit, and the Saints are surely a different team when he’s in the lineup.

But Detroit needs to try to capitalize on the momentum they gained down in the desert, as head coach Matt Patricia has already been the subject of rumors and speculation through just three weeks.

Patricia’s Lions could go a long way toward silencing some of the early season doubters by pulling off a victory over the Saints. With that in mind, here are four bold predictions for the Lions this weekend.
