Lions win their second game in a row

This is the boldest of the four predictions. While the Saints have not looked like themselves thus far this season, it’s still difficult to write off a team with the likes of Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, and possibly a healthy Michael Thomas.

But the Lions had a big win in Arizona — a result they desperately needed — and the momentum could carry over this week. The Saints, in comparison, lost a shootout to the Packers and are facing the prospect of winning just one game in the first month of the season.

Detroit will likely need to catch a few breaks to beat New Orleans. Drew Brees has one interception and one fumble on the season, and if Matt Patricia’s defense can create a turnover or two, it would give Matt Stafford and the offense their best chance to beat the Saints.
