2. Can anyone pressure the quarterback?

On the first drive for the Packers, the Saints were able to pick up a sack and hold them to a field goal. For the rest of the game, the Saints did not record a sack and had just two quarterback hits. This has been a trend over the last two weeks.

Cam Jordan and Trey Hendrickson have not been able to generate consistent pressure along the offensive line. Yes, the Packers like to get the ball out of Rodgers’ hand quickly. That is not an excuse given the fact that New Orleans could not get to Derek Carr either in Week 2.

It means that quarterbacks have time to sit back and pick apart the secondary. Jordan needs to begin to get pressure as he has in the past.

This could be a lack of creativity along the defensive line or adjustments from the opposing team picking up pressure. Regardless, it is up to Dennis Allen to find the reason and make it better.
