2. Dolphins Put Together Respectable Effort

When considering the circumstances, the Dolphins are not expected to experience much success in the win column — except during head-to-head matchups with teams like the Jets. That doesn’t mean they won’t end up giving winning teams a real run for their money as they did the Bills.

There was no let-up from the Dolphins in this matchup. Miami managed to put points on the board in each quarter — something not even the Bills ended up doing. Keeping it close helped the Dolphins to take the lead briefly in the third quarter.

It wasn’t long until the Bills answered back with a touchdown of their own to regain the lead. In fact, it occurred on the immediate position for Buffalo. The Dolphins were then forced to three-and-out when they got the ball back — setting up Buffalo to build on their lead to seal the win.

It will be important for the Dolphins to get Tua Tagovailoa on the field for game action whenever he’s able to do so. He has the type of potential to raise the ceiling of Miami’s offense and with that type of skill-set, the idea is to follow his lead in order to come out on top in such matchups.
